The team modified to the stock AnyLogic model to have three extra groups in order to account for the flow of people through the stages of the virus with more detail. The structure of the model was intended to show quarantine measures with more detail, so recommendations about quarantine protocols could be made with the best effects. Although the model was very detailed and promised to provide reliable results, it contained a large number of coefficients that had to be found through calibration. The team was not able to gather data to make such a calibration properly. The model was able to provide the team with an understanding of the way quarantine protocols influence the final results, but failed to show accurate results.
